On your way through the Terminal 5 in the atrium hall which leads to the British Airways First Class Lounges, you will come across a fabulous piece of digital sculpture, the Cloud. It was a response to British airways wish to install a signature piece at the entrance of the new British Airways luxury lounges in Heathrow Terminal 5. The project took eight months period to get into shape. Artists Conny Freyer, Eva Rucki and Sebastien Noel from Troika, gave a marvelous blend of audible flipping sounds between 4638 black and silver flip-dots, which captivate the mind when they creates mesmerising of snakes, rippling water waves, and schools of fishes ought of the chase across the surface of ‘Cloud’. Further, the reflection fills the movements with surrounding colors, and presents a flirting show. Take a look at the video and you would know for yourself as to why they call it the ‘Cloud’.
